Lucia Bitonti

I am  a qualified and experienced Individual and Couple Psychotherapist and Sex Therapist. I’m trained in Specialist Couple Therapy and Sexological Bodywork. I’m a registered member of the Society of Australian Sexologists and the Australian Counselling Association.

I use a client centered approach to help individuals and couples identify and make the changes to achieve their goals and cultivate life long tools. I nurture

 a strong therapeutic relationship and l create a friendly, warm and safe environment, that holds a space for individuals and couples to openly explore, and be truly present.

I use a range of approaches depending on the person and their situation and understand the importance of meeting individual needs to maximise success. I draw upon frameworks including emotion focused therapy, attachment science, neuroscience, compassion focused therapy, internal family systems, gestalt, somatic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and Gottman.

I work with presenting issues such as:

Stress and anxiety, depression, self esteem

Sexual issues (ejaculation problems, erectile difficulties, orgasm, arousal and desire, penetration problems, painful sex, vaginismus, dyspareunia, body image, penis size, sex education and coaching

Relationships issues (intimacy, trust, conflict, communication skills, desire, libido, affairs, polyamory, separation, parenting, blended families)

Couple work (conscious relating, tantric practices, deepening connection)
