Foti is an accredited mental health social worker with specialist training and qualifications in the disciplines of Gestalt psychotherapy, family therapy, and couple therapy.

With 20 years of professional experience, Foti has worked across a range of settings including welfare services, hospitals, community health, tertiary education, and private practice. Foti has worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families on a range of issues. This includes stress and anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, violence and abuse, relationship breakdown, affairs, grief and loss and more.

Foti works as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor in private practice and past faculty member at Gestalt Therapy Australia.

Foti’s preferred therapeutic modality is gestalt psychotherapy, though he also uses Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, Child Developmental Theory, Relational Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Theory, Play Therapy, and Psychodrama.
