Sue is a Mental Health clinician with specialist training and qualifications in the disciplines of Social Work, Family Therapy and Couple Therapy.
With over 20 years professional experience, Sue has worked across a range of settings including Public Mental Health, Hospitals, Community Health, Tertiary Education, the Corporate Sector and Private Practice.
Sue works with adults, couples and families on a range of issues. These include stress and anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, workplace stress and vocational issues, relationship difficulties, affairs, grief and loss, life stage transitions and more.
Sue takes a humanistic approach. Her preferred therapeutic modalities are Mindfulness-based CBT, Family Systems Therapy, Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her work is also influenced by Attachment Theory, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Zen Buddhism.
She works collaboratively with people in a clear, open and gentle way to assist them in understanding themselves and manage their lives and their feelings more effectively.
