Koula is a social worker with specialist training as a family therapist, with a particular interest in relationships and parenting. For 30 years she has worked with families, children, adolescents and individuals in a variety of settings. Koula has worked in women’s health services, schools, family counselling services, and in community health, legal, family violence and multicultural sectors.
She has helped and counselled families, children and individuals experiencing life and health issues such as depression, anxiety, as well as parenting and school difficulties, friendship and relationship issues.
Koula has a collaborative and respectful approach to counselling. She acknowledges that everyone is different, everyone’s experience is unique thus drawing on a range of approaches that suit the individual or family and reasons for attending counselling.
Koula can provide professional supervision and secondary consultations.
